When the voice on the inside is greater, louder, and more profound than the opinions on the outside, you master your life. – Demartini
We are here to help you find your path.
You might be going through life doing what you think is expected of you. You listen to an endless list of advisers including parents, friends, peers and society. The problem is that it’s not you that you’re listening to. You do end up living a life, but it’s not your life. You become unhappy, things become a grind…
Believe it or not, you have an inner voice that will put you on the right track every time. You might have silenced it a few years ago, but it’s still there, waiting for you to learn how to develop it, to make it loud enough to hear. CatalystBreakthru can help you find the real, authentic you. And, when you do, your world will change. You will suddenly have a purpose and your actions will become effortless. Your life will be yours to create any way you desire.
Our international team of qualified coaches and mental health professionals has received rigorous training in the CatalystBreakthru methodology and can put together the perfect solution tailored to suit you. We utilise the disciplines of psychology, psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), neuro-linguistic programming (NLP), the collaborative recovery model (CRM), hypnotherapy and dream analysis.
We believe in results. We don’t believe in the need for people to be ‘in therapy’ for years on end with no tangible progress. Our tried and proven methods get you the results that you want quickly.
We provide our services by telephone and by using Skype, which you’ll have no worries using provided you have a reasonable internet connection. As an added bonus, there’s no travelling time, you can be wherever you want, wearing whatever you want and you don’t have to worry about parking.
We would like to introduce you to our founders, Pedro and Emi.
Pedro Diaz – BSW, MAASW (Acc. Mental Health)
Pedro is an international speaker on the subject of mental health, well-being and spirituality.
Pedro knows what it is like to live with a mental illness, having experienced bipolar disorder for over 10 years. He knows what it is like to wake up in the morning with a feeling of dread and hopelessness, and to hear your children’s laughter as they play and not be able to share in their joy. This was Pedro’s reality for more than a decade. It has shaped his passion into what it is today.
Pedro has devoted the past 20 years of his life to people development in both personal and therapeutic capacities. He has worked extensively with individuals keen on developing themselves, as well as those experiencing mental illness.
Pedro is a very experienced and effective therapist and coach who loves seeing people transform not only their lives but the lives of others. He is as experienced a trainer as he is a practitioner, equally at home in front of a group as he is one-on-one.
Pedro has led the design and implementation of innovative and results-oriented recovery programs in his work with mental health organisations around the world. These programs have managed to attract funding and a great amount of positive attention.
In addition to having a Bachelor of Social Work degree, Pedro is a trainer in the collaborative recovery model, mental health first aid and neuro-linguistic programming and a certified Ericksonian hypnotherapist. He is also a Visiting Fellow at the University of Wollongong and Field Educator for the Australian Catholic University.
Emi Golding – BSc (Hons. Psychology), BArts, Assoc. MAPS
As a registered psychologist, Emi has worked with hundreds of clients experiencing the most extreme mental illnesses such as schizophrenia and bipolar disorder. As a mental health trainer she regularly teaches professionals how to work with people experiencing these issues. She also works with everyday people who suffer everyday problems. Emi loves seeing her clients thrive and live fulfilling lives.
She believes that in therapy one size does not fit all. She adopts an eclectic approach to her practice, often combining techniques from cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and existential perspectives to help clients achieve the best results for them.
Emi believes in lifelong learning and is continually updating her skills to ensure that she utilises the latest techniques and strategies when working with her clients. She is an associate member of the Australian Psychological Society, an accredited neuro-linguistic programming results coach, certified hypnotherapist and timeline therapist. Emi is also an accredited trainer of the collaborative recovery model, the Advanced Diploma of Community Sector Management and mental health first aid, and has delivered training internationally.
As lead psychologist, Emi manages our team of psychologists and coaches and provides psychotherapy and coaching to individuals and groups. She still loves to travel and has lived in many cities around the world, which gives her a unique, multicultural approach to her practice.
